Vaðall
Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir and Aðalheiður Halldórsdóttir have worked together as the creative duo Vaðall since 2000. They participated in Id's Choreographic Workshop in the spring of 2006 and later that year they premiered their first full-length piece for Id - Hver um sig/To each his own.
Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir studied dance at Edda Scheving's ballet school, the National
Ballet School of Iceland and in Oslo, 
Norway
at the Statens Ballett Högskole from where she graduated in 1998. Valgerður joined Id as a
dancer in 2002. She created pieces and danced in the annual Dance Theater Competition in
Iceland in 2005 and 2006.
Aðalheiður Halldórsdóttir studied at the National Ballet School of Iceland, was an apprentice
for a year 
with
the Ballet Akademia in Cologne, Germany and studied dance and choreography at Hogescholl voor
de Kunsten in Arnheim from 2002-2004. She has participated in many of Id's performances and
works as a guestdancer with the company. She has worked as a dancer and choreographed in
several festivals in Iceland. She has also choreographed pieces for the annual Dance-Theatre
Competiition held at the Reykjavík City Theatre.
